June 27the consortium formed by Zhuhai Gree Group Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Jianan Group Co., Ltd. won the bid war for “Construction PPP Project of Zhuhai Center for Chronic Disease Control”. On the afternoon of the same day, the launching ceremony of the construction project of Zhuhai Center for Chronic Disease Control was successfully held. Liu Kuanxian, deputy director of the Health and Family Planning Commission of Guangdong Province, attended the launching ceremony.
June 9the Xingye Expressway (North Section)-West Line Tunnel (pilot section) was issued construction project construction permit, marking the official and substantive commencement of the construction.

Gree Electric Appliances realized a gross sales revenue of 100.11 billion yuan at a year-on-year growth of 19.87% and net profit of 7.38 billion yuan at a year-on-year growth of 40.92%, becoming the first household appliance Chinese enterprise with net profit over 100 billion yuan.

DecemberZhuhai Jianan Group Co., Ltd transferred its 100% property right to Zhuhai Gree Group Co., Ltd.

2008

NovemberZhuhai Gree Group Corporation was renamed as Zhuhai Gree Group Co., Ltd., and the company nature changed from collective ownership to state-owned exclusive company.
